Ned has been an innovator in technology and media for over 30 years. He joined Corum after successfully selling his open source manufacturing ERP software company xTuple (formerly OpenMFG) in 2022. Working on the system of record for companies of all sizes gave him a deep understanding of the enterprise software ecosystem and an appreciation for well-designed interfaces and clean data. Before founding xTuple, he worked as a corporate VC for a mid-sized media company on acquisitions, investments and startup projects, including a real-time vacation property reservations company, an online vehicle auction site and an open source database software business. He is an active mentor and board member with regional angel and incubator/accelerator groups in his native Virginia. He has a keen interest in disruptive technologies, and companies and founders who consistently question the status quo.
