Shawn Weir

Shawn has more than 20 years of experience in executive leadership in the technology sector. Over the years he acquired three companies and successfully sold two. Shawn’s first exit was in 2016 selling AEC / BIM Management Consulting company PDC BIM Consulting to US based DBM Global (forming part of DBM Vircon). As Co-founder and CEO, he spearheaded the commercialization and global growth of iConstruct, an industry leading BIM and Digital Engineering application, revolutionizing construction and asset management through seamless integration of intelligent 3D models throughout the Project Asset Lifecycle. iConstruct is used by over 400 of the largest EPCs, General Contractors and owners across the commercial, infrastructure and industrial sectors globally. iConstruct sold to Swedish based company Hexagon AB in 2022. Shawn also led the scale out of Capital Project HRM Solution Insite Logistics, since sold to Australian based listed company Kinatico. Shawn is a passionate supporter of tech start up ecosystem and continues to be an advisor and investor.
